Volunteers needed to pack bags for charity

VOLUNTEERS are needed urgently for a bag packing day at a North Yorkshire supermarket.
A target of £3,000 has been set at the fundraising event for Whixley Cricket Club. Bags will be packed at the Morrison’s superstore in Boroughbridge.
Adults can supervise or hold buckets while young people help pack bags, or vice-versa, to suit individual preferences. Badges will be worn and juniors are specially requested to wear whites.
Ten checkouts will be covered over a six-hour period, but more volunteers are needed for two-hour slots between 10am and 4pm.
