THE charity Action For Children is challenging Yorkshire residents to take part in a massive three-hour zumbathon.
The fun fitness event, which will take place at the Riley Smith Hall in Tadcaster on Sunday, March 24, is aimed at raising funds for the area’s most vulnerable children and young people.
Action For Children fundraiser Vicky Thaxter said: “Taking part in our zumbathon is a great way to support Action For Children, keep fit and have fun.
“We run 29 services across Yorkshire, including children’s centres and a new project which helps care leavers to successfully make the transition to living independently.
“All of the money raised at the zumbathon will go directly to these services, supporting local children and young people.”
Registration for Action For Children’s zumbathon is only £10 and fundraisers are asked to raise additional sponsorship.
