A charity shopping event will bring a touch of glitz and glamour to York.
On Wednesday, November 14, department store Browns will be holding a special shopping evening in support of the Lord Mayor and Sheriff’s charities.
The store will be open from 6pm to 9pm.
During the event there will also be a tombola, with all proceeds going to the civic chosen charities.
This year the charities are SSAFA Forces Help and Special Olympics City of York.
The Lady Mayoress, Karen Hyman, said: “This is set to be a fantastic event, which I’m really looking forward to. We hope a lot of people will get involved in to raise money for such great causes.”
