PUPILS at an East Yorkshire primary school had a special guest recently, welcoming rugby league star Iafeta Paleaaesina into their assembly.

Feka, as he is more widely known, visited Holme-on-Spalding-Moor Primary School and brought a very special item with him, the prestigious Rugby League Challenge Cup.

Pupils from the school asked a range questions about the trophy and Iafeta.

Steve Woodhouse, headteacher at the school, was delighted to have Feka involved.

He said: "It was a brilliant assembly and one that the staff, children and visitors will remember for a long time. Our primary school is all about creating memories for the pupils and providing them with inspirational role models."

The children had their photos taken with Feka and the trophy.
