THESE sixth formers are celebrating getting offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge university.
Fulford Sixth Form has seven students who have received offers from the two top flight institutions. They are:
Ella Batters – linguistics at Cambridge
Paula Gomez – psychology and linguistics at Oxford
Molly Killeen – history and politics at Cambridge
Ethan Redmond – maths at Cambridge
Eilidh Rivers – natural sciences at Cambridge
John Stokes-Waters – maths at Cambridge
Jasmine Yang – biological sciences at Oxford
Tim Morris, director of sixth form and assistant head, said: “These students have all followed the Oxbridge progression support programme offered at Fulford.
“They have also displayed a great deal of talent, resilience and focus, and fully deserve to have received these offers. We wish to congratulate these students and all the others who are receiving university offers and those for work related placements and apprenticeships.
“The students are a credit to the school.”
