Ryedale treble
RYEDALE Sports Club overcame Gillamoor 2-1 to retain the Victory Cup and a complete a memorable treble after scooping the RJF Homes Beckett League first
division championship and Ryedale Hospital Cup.
Ryedale took the lead after 25 minutes through a close range Matty Bower goal, but Gillamoor equalised six minutes before the break when Gary Stamper forced the ball in after Craig Ibbotson's strike had hit the crossbar.
But Ryedale won it nine minutes from time when Heath Brown's shot bobbled into the net off a post and 'keeper Dan Jeminson's hand.
