We lost Kevin a dear husband, dad, grandad, great grandad & father-in-law to covid he will always be remembered and sadly missed, never forgotten

Kevin was a beloved Husband Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad and Father-in-Law who was sadly taken by Covid in February 2021 he will be sadly missed by all his family. Rest in peace.

Jean Margaret Handley. Precious memories of a fantastic wife, mum and grandma who sadly passed away with covid on 20th Oct 20 aged 65. Life without her is unbearable she had so much to live for as she entered her retirement years. Never to be forgotten.

Dad, you were the absolute best. We all miss you so much. You were taken from us much too soon at the age of 61 by this terrible disease. We will forever be broken that we were not allowed to be with you at the end, to tell you that we loved you and to hold your hand as you slipped away. Not a day goes by where you aren't thought about and talked about. We all love you and miss you so much. Love from your children, Tracey, Mark and Tom, Son in Law Nigel, Daughters in Law Kay and Martha and all your Grandchildren, Josh, Lewis, Meghan, Elliot Molly, Kain, Scarlet, Grace, Lily and Isabella. Much love from your brother Alf and sister in law Anne. Until we meet again...

We would like to pay tribute to my dad Allan Dunford who sadly passed away on 15th November 2020 aged 69 from COVID-19, his family are totally devastated.
A loving husband to Linda, a father to Claire, Carrie and Adam. Grandad to Amber, Harvey, Tristan, Maisy and Hattie.
We would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at York ICU who looked after him in his final days. We can’t even begin to imagine how hard it must be caring for patients day in day out with this horrible disease.
Gone but never forgotten, we love you dad.

My father John Michael Crompton died from Covid 19 on Thursday 21st May 2020. He was failed miserably by the government and ultimately by the poor handling of the hospital.
He was a kind man. Loved by many and well known in our village. He adored and worshipped his daughters and cats. And worked hard to keep everyone happy and safe all the way up until he went to hospital. He was a strong man with a great wit and intelligence that put even the brightest teachers to shame. He could fix anything and could build anything. Nothing stood in his way.
He wasn't always a well man but he over came some of the worst of illnesses despite his age and conditions and still did his best by every lone and tried to be strong and upbeat despite it all, which is why it is so sad and tragic that a virus killed him. Alone and frightened. And yet just before he went on a ventilator he managed to write a note to me which the nurse told me. 'message for Mackenzie, I love her.'
That was my dad. A brave kind soul whose lessons I will always remember and will always keep him alive in my memories. Gone far yoo soon. He was a young 75 year old who was still climbing roof tops, fixing sheds and fences, doing the gardening and fitting appliances in the house. He always said he thought of himself as Peter Pan. And he was. He never grew up or grew old. And in the words of Peter Pan 'To live will be an awfully big adventure.'
I love you dad and miss you every day.
