We have vacancies in most areas of York and Selby, but if your local area is fully served at this time we have a waiting list which is constantly being updated and developed. Your details will be passed directly on to your area organiser allowing us to get you distributing the paper as soon as possible.

Minimum requirements for all Star Distributors

You need to be aged 13 upwards

You need to be available on a Thursday night to deliver the paper, and possible another evening in the week if we have extra leaflets which require delivery separate to the newspaper, these are called ‘solus leaflets’

You need your own bank account for your weekly salary payments

We offer incentives to everybody when:

• you recommend a friend
• you find your own holiday cover
• you can find cover if you decide you no longer want to deliver the paper, but we do require 2 weeks notice if you decide to leave.
