Lady Anne Middleton’s Hotel, a hidden gem right in the heart of York

It first opened as a bed and breakfast in Skeldergate House, in June 1973, and remains in the same family ownership to this day. Over the years, more buildings have been added to the collection, to make the hotel what it is today.

Lady Anne’s is situated on Skeldergate - the ancient Roman waterfront, which now leads from the medieval city walls across the river to the centre of York.
