BUSINESS unity is strength. That is expected to be the theme of a speech by Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Phil Willis at a meeting of network organisation The Met Club at Hotel du Vin in Harrogate on Thursday evening.
Mr Willis, who will talk about how Yorkshire businesses need to band together to fight the recession, will be joined by the former chief constable of North Yorkshire, Della Cannings, and Lt Col Steve O’Cock, the commanding officer of Harrogate’s Army Foundation College.
Both Ms Cannings and Mr Willis have previously spoken about their diverse careers at Met Club lunches.
Christine Armstrong, The Met Club managing director, said: “As a business club we work tirelessly to ensure that we attract high-profile members, as well as prestigious guest. We strive to make the Met Club a premier business organisation.”
