WARE & Kay Solicitors has expanded its residential property team with the appointment of William Baggaley who has joined the team as a residential property solicitor.

Originally from Leeds, Mr Baggaley arrives at Ware & Kay with more than seven years experience in property law.

He studied at Staffordshire University Law School before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2002 and starting his career in Leeds.

Mr Baggaleywill strengthen an already busy residential property team at the firm’s York offices and will be assisting Penny Eedle, David Kershaw, Holly Stevens, Louise Davis and Sarah Bell in developing Ware & Kay’s current residential property profile.

HOLIDAY homes provider, York-based Park Leisure, has appointed Paul Hammond as marketing manager.

Prior to joining Park Leisure, Mr Hammond worked for Capita Resourcing, as part of the British Army Recruiting Partnership Project. The role saw him responsible for raising the profile of Army Careers in the North of England, and driving candidate application through localised and national marketing campaigns.

Mr Hammond will report directly to Lisa Williams, Hhad of Marketing, and take an active role in the execution of all central marketing activity for the York-based brand.

DWA Architects has appointed Alex Tam as an architectural technician, based in the company’s head office in York.

He joins following a variety of roles, including working as an undergraduate architectural assistant for Network Rail, and is a graduate of Manchester School of Architecture.

David Ward, managing director of DWA Architects said: “Alex brings both expertise and enthusiasm and we are delighted he is joining our growing team here in York.”
