A YORK hotel is to enjoy prime time television coverage after being selected to offer a competition alongside a new Channel 5 series.
The station is tonight airing a new series called Britain’s Great Cathedrals, hosted by Tony Robinson, with the first episode focussed on York Minster.
A competition is set to feature alongside the six-part series, offering among its prizes a stay at Grays Court, in Chapter House Street.
The hotel’s business development manager Sarah Czarnecki said: “We were approached by the production company to offer a prize, and were then shortlisted. We thought it would just be for the York episode, but its the whole series.
“It’s a great thing for us to have the opportunity for such great national exposure.”
