NORTH Yorkshire ladieswear business Bella di Notte is moving from the Helmsley store it has occupied for 14 years to new larger premises in Malton.

The business, famed for once dressing a Bond girl, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with a move from Sawmill Lane to Malton Enterprise Park.

Susan Johnson, founder of Bella di Notte, which last year enjoyed record sales, said: “We’re very sad to be leaving Helmsley, but unfortunately we simply couldn’t find the size and style of premises we needed in the town.

“Our newly built 5,000 sq ft warehouse and shop in Malton will double the square footage we have now, which is very much needed. It’s been a staggering few years, and with the catalogue and online business booming as much as our face-to-face store, we need additional warehouse space as well as a bigger shop floor.”
