A LUNCH will be held this week in a bid to help businesses understand new regulations.
Hethertons Solicitors has teamed up with training provider Livius Training Centre to help business leaders prepare themselves for the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
The regulations, part of a European-wide drive to protect an individual’s personal information, will require businesses to change their practices when collecting and storing data and could see significant fines for businesses which fail to comply.
The Bite-Sized Management and Leadership Lunch is due to be held at the Livius Training Centre in Boroughbridge on Thursday and will feature an informative talk from Hethertons’ senior associate, David Scott.
He will discuss how the GDPR will affect businesses when it comes into force on Friday, May 25.
