A LUXURY holiday company will create 250 jobs when its £45m flagship experience opens in Pickering next summer.

Beyond Escapes says it is bringing a new concept for the staycation market to the former Pickering Showground site, offering guests the ultimate holiday experience.

There will be an array of accommodation options and high-spec ancillary facilities, including restaurant, spa and gym, which all available to guests and locals alike.

After the completion of its two-phase opening plan, Beyond Escapes North Yorkshire will welcome more than 1,000 guests at full capacity, in accommodation options, including BE Lux Little Lodges, to one, two, three and four-bedroom BE Deluxe Lodges with private hot tubs and four-bedroom deluxe lakeside villas.

In addition, BE Events management space will also be available, with the capacity to host more than 5,000 day visitors for conferences, festivals, events and weddings. Jason Bruton, managing director at Beyond Escapes, said: “At Beyond Escapes we wanted to create a space that is different to everything else that already exists in the staycation market, a place that caters for all and which offers a quality holiday experience that goes above and beyond what people expect and we truly believe we will achieve that here in Yorkshire.

“Pickering has been our home from the beginning, so when it came time to select a base for our flagship experience there was never any doubt that it would be here. Yorkshire is such a diverse region, and we can’t wait to introduce more visitors to the area, so they can discover for themselves all that it has to offer.

“Each of our experiences will be unique in their own way, working in harmony with their surroundings, championing local produce and offering activities in keeping with the locality.

“That combined with Beyond Escape’s high-end, boutique style accommodation and top-quality facilities, allow both overnight guests and day visitors to be whatever they want to be.”
