THE transformation of a former York Malthouse into six homes has received national recognition after it winning an award from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
After taking two titles at the RICS Awards Yorkshire & Humber earlier this year, Clemethorpe Maltings last night won the residential award at the 2017 RICS Awards Grand Final.
RICS Judges said Clementhorpe Maltings, which was formerly a Grade II listed Malthouse that had lay derelict for more than 50 years, is highly deserving of the national Residential award for its imaginative and clever conversion that has delivered exemplary and unique residential homes. The team behind Clementhorpe Maltings was COG Architects, Croft Farm Construction, LHL Group and Northminster.
