FAMILY-owned spice specialists Rafi’s Spicebox is set to open a fifth shop later this month, branching out into Europe’s largest indoor market, in Leeds.
Originating in 1989 and opening in Goodramgate in 2004,
The company that now has its head office and mail order unit in Layerthorpe is continuing its crusade to inspire people to cook Indian Food at home.
Owner Kevin Fernandez said “We are incredibly excited to be bringing Rafi’s Spicebox to Leeds.
" I went to university in Leeds and have loved the city ever since. Kirkgate Market encapsulates all the exciting things happening around the city, and we’re over the moon that we are now in a position to join some of the best and freshest food producers Yorkshire has to offer’.
Rafi's Spicebox creates a unique and bespoke customer experience and in its new outlet customers will be able to choose from over 50 made to order spice mixes from family recipes.
