A YORK based outplacement specialist is expanding within its headquarters after a record breaking start to 2017.

Renovo, based in King Street, has seen revenues rise by 35 per cent for the year to date following a record number of client acquisitions.

Planning for further growth, Renovo has moved into larger premises within its well-established Kings House headquarters, including the development of Skype rooms for virtual one to one coaching to support the delivery of Renovo’s outplacement service to clients across the UK and Northern Europe.

Managing director Chris Parker said: “Fundamental to the growth of the business has been the results we deliver for the individuals and organisations we support.

“Adding to our impressive commercial performance we have maintained an enviable 54 days to resettlement across our outplacement programmes.”

Renovo now works with hundreds of companies across 30 different sectors, and has helped more than 40,000 people return to work twice as fast as the national industry average.

Speaking about the company’s new training facility, which was created to enable the growth and development of Renovo’s coaching team, Mr Parker said: “We have a really passionate, committed team and it’s only right we create the type of environment that reflects their commitment.

“The new offices are modern, spacious and equipped with the latest technology to ensure the team can focus on what they do best – helping individuals move on successfully post redundancy.”

Through the recent expansion of its client portfolio in the first six months of the year, and its rise in revenues, Renovo has become the fastest growing specialist outplacement provider in the UK.

The business has provided its programmes for companies across the UK, including printing giant RR Donnelly, when in 2015 Renovo worked with the firm’s 220 staff who were affected by the closure of its Flaxby facility.

As part of an innovative partnership with The Printing Charity, Renovo created a range of workshops over a six week timeframe. The workshops covered all aspects of job search including CV production, effective online job searching and interviews. After the closure of the facility, employees were further supported with access to a wealth of on online career resources as well as 24/7 emotional and wellbeing support.

Renovo also supported a UK wide restructure of Dorothy Perkins and Burtons Group’s branch management network, and worked with Provident Financial Group on changing its UK wide administrative offices.
