HARROGATE based Saint Michael's Hospice has received a boost from the county's largest independent vehicle-hire firm.
Arrow Self Drive has renewed its partnership with the hospice, giving it exclusive use of one of its vehicles so the hospice can deliver essential equipment to help patients receive care where they want. Since the partnership began in 2015, the van has also been key to the everyday running of Saint Michael’s nine charity shops which collectively raise more than £800,000 a year to support hospice services.
Arrow Self Drive’s contribution will now help the charity deliver its network of inpatient and outreach services which support more than 2,000 people each year. Tony Collins, chief executive of Saint Michael’s, said they were exceptionally grateful for the support.
