RYEDALE liquor producer Raisthorpe Manor has opened its first ever gin shop.
The success of a Christmas pop-up shop at York’s Designer Outlet has resulted in a permanent fixture at the shopping centre for the Thixendale-based business.
Founded in 2008, Raisthorpe Manor made a name for itself using locally sourced products from its 1,500-acre estate to make gins, vodkas, and ports before expanding into a range of jams and jellies.
The shop, located near the south entrance, opened earlier this month, and offers free sampling.
Oliver Medforth from Raisthorpe, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our very own gin shop. We had excellent feedback at our pop-up last Christmas and we can’t wait to showcase our new additions to the range on a more permanent basis.”
