LINDUM Construction has announced the appointed of James Nellist as a director of Lindum York.

Mr Nellist started work for Lindum Construction in Lincoln in 2007 as a quantity surveyor and moved to the York office as managing surveyor in 2015, where he now heads the commercial and estimating teams.

Lindum group chairman David Chambers, said: “James’ appointment as director is in recognition of the contribution, dedication and ability he has shown throughout the ten years he has been a part of the team and for the responsibility he now has.”

AN expanding client base has prompted rural property experts Hewetson & Johnson to strengthen its Yorkshire office with the appointment of estate management specialist Mark Ludiman.

Mr Ludiman, who joins the firm from Bruton Knowles, has been appointed as a director based at the Newburgh Priory office, in Coxwold, near Easingwold.

Partner Edward Johnson said the firm was thrilled to have secured Mr Ludiman’s services.

He commented that the appointment demonstrates the growth that Hewetson & Johnson has experienced since setting up offices in Yorkshire and Cumbria just three years ago.

INDEPENDANT North Yorkshire furniture and kitchen manufacturer Treske has strengthened its award-winning team with two senior appointments.

Karen Storey and Beth Elson join Thirsk-based Treske from Oakstone Designs in Darlington and Yorkshire Design Associates in Harrogate respectively.

Justin Bartlett, owner and managing director of Treske, said: “These are significant appointments for our kitchen design team.

“Karen and Beths arrives coincides with the revamping of our showrooms.”
