FEEDBACK from a customer survey has resulted in a York printing firm producing a new pack to combat confusion .
Haxby Road-based Wood Richardson, which dates back to 1905, has put together a Print Buyers Pack after a recent customer survey showed many were confused by different print options.
The team wanted to find a way of providing information to customers in an engaging format and the Print Buyers’ Pack was developed.
Included in the pack are swatches of different paper and finishes, examples of how colour prints differently on various materials, pros and cons of the digital and lithographic processes and guides on sizes and corresponding envelopes.
Sales director Alan Coulson said: “We know that sometimes printers’ terms and all of the different printing and finishing options available can be overwhelming. We want to really help our customers.”
