A PERFORMING arts school has launched a new college which it hopes to grow with the help of York accountants Garbutt +Elliot.

The Monks Crossed-based accountancy firm has been appointed by Starbrite Studios.

The professionally accredited school recently launched Triplestar College Performing Arts in Shiptonthorpe, between York and Hull, to provide education and training for students aged 16 years and older.

Garbutt + Elliott has been appointed to provide a range of accountancy and financial services to support the development of both Starbrite Studios and the Triplestar College of Performing Arts.

Creative director and principal at Starbrite and Triplestar College, Emma Bailey-Hague, said: “We want to deliver a vibrant and dynamic learning experience for all our students who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts.

“The launch of Triplestar College provides us with the perfect opportunity to extend our learning provision and pass on our extensive knowledge and experience of performing as a career.”
