AN ESCAPE game based in the centre of York has been officially been named as one the UK’s top fifteen such games by Holiday Lettings and TripAdvisor, thanks to glowing reviews and industry research.
Escape games have increased in popularity over the last two years and there are now more than 250 across the UK, including Can You Escape? in York.
The games see teams locked in a room for 60 minutes and faced with a range of puzzles, riddles and clues that need to be solved in order to escape.
Similar to the Crystal Maze, the game gets teams working together, using a range of skills in order to succeed.
A spokesperson for Holiday Lettings said:“The list has been compiled to celebrate only the best of the Escape Games, and the final 15 were selected from hundreds of the most exciting escape games across the UK.”
