THREE decades in business are being celebrated by a York engineering firm which has grown its turnover to £2 million with a team of more than 20 staff.

To mark its 30th anniversary engineering specialist Iain Scott Fabrications is launching a new brand identity in a bid to help the business move forward into its fourth decade.

The business, which was founded in 1987 by Iain Scott, and provides a range of design, manufacture and installation services to businesses needing process engineering expertise nationwide, has been given a new look as it seeks to modernise its image.

Managing director and founder Iain Scott said: “We have a can-do attitude and the level of care and customer service we provide to our clients is second to none and we wanted a brand that reflects our approach.

“We think that our new look and feel is eye-catching, modern and professional.

“We have a different look but are committed to providing the same exceptional quality and service that keeps our customers coming back.”

ISF, which is based at the Raylor Centre, in James Street, works with a variety of clients across numerous industry sectors including food, animal feed, chemicals, construction, plastics and oil extraction.

Specialising in conveying and processing machinery, specialist steel fabrications and installation services, ISF designs and manages projects from beginning to end often providing bespoke solutions to solve client’s problems.

Alongside launching a new identity the team at ISF has also developed a website accessible from PC, Laptop or hand held devices which together with an e-newsletter will keep customers up to date with news and developments.

Project manager David Hukins said: “We are aware that potential and existing customers spend a lot of their time online and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to be able to find and contact us.

“By increasing our online presence we are able to share stories about the work we are doing and connect more easily and immediately with our clients – all helping to position us as the right provider to work with in the process engineering sector.”

Prior to launching ISF Mr Scott operated a small fully operational Feed Mill. He originally started the business to service the feed milling industry, but today covers many sectors including biomass, fertiliser and Pet food industries.
