PAINTERS, electricians and plumbers headed to Barratt Yorkshire East’s Monks Cross headquarters for a breakfast meeting with the company.
The company, which encompasses the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, was hosting its first “Constructing Futures” subcontractor breakfast meeting in York.
The event saw dozens of subcontractors including painters, electricians and plumbers get together to talk about the opportunities of working with a housebuilder, against a backdrop of skills shortages in the industry.
Steve Mattinson, Barratt Developments Yorkshire East’s construction director, said: “We really value the input and support our subcontractors provide us with, so we’re keen to help their businesses.”
