THE Nestlé Needs Youth initiative is not only helping young people gain invaluable work experience but also raising aspirations and building their confidence, says a new social impact report.
The York chocolate manufacturer partnered with MyKindaFuture in 2013 to provide employability training for young people and develop their understanding of opportunities in science, technology, engineering and maths within the food and manufacturing industry.
It has since supported 4,557 students through workshops, assessment days and work experience.
