AN apprenticeship fair being held on Thursday, March 2 will give young people chance to learn about more than 100 apprenticeship vacancies in York.
The recruitment event takes place at the City of York Council’s West Offices from 4pm to 7pm and will give people aged 16 to 24 and their parents chance to meet employers and to find out about alternative routes to Level 3 qualifications and university.
One-to-one advice sessions will also be on offer, along with the chance to speak to employers, training providers and current apprentices.
Employers like Nestlé, Siemens, Portakabin, the Armed services, Marriott Hotel will be there with apprenticeship in accountancy, marketing, engineering and health.
