A FILM and animation production company with offices in York and Manchester has launched a new “little brother” venture.

Digifish said an increasing client demand for animation from local businesses had led it to set up Little Fish Animation “to service this changing market”.

The new company, which was launched earlier this week, “will provide businesses and organisations with customised animated video content, at an affordable price to help local businesses respond to changing consumer behaviour, as video continues to grow in popularity amongst consumers.

“As a specialist division of Digifish, one of the UK’s leading video and animation companies, Little Fish offers high-quality video animation that will help communicate any message.

“Whether you would like a video creating for marketing purposes or information awareness, Little Fish can produce a broad range of styles. With a simple pricing structure, the Little Fish team of highly talented and experienced individuals can work with you to create anything you like.”

Digifish has previously created animations for organisations including North Yorkshire Police, Askham Bryan College, and the University of York. Paul Banks, creative director at Digifish and co-founder of Little Fish, said: “Over the last few years, Digifish has become one of the UK’s leading experts in the creation of 2D and 3D animation; in fact, we have seen the demand for cost-effective animation snowball so much that we wanted to give it it’s own platform.

“We wanted to take our years of experience of creating high-end commercials and corporate films and reformat it into a hassle-free, cost-effective solution for everyone, from start-up business through to national organisations, universities and museums.

“The launch of Little Fish is really exciting, as it will provide customers with an opportunity to create a truly bespoke animation with clear rates from the outset, all created by our talented in-house team of experts, all overseen by one of our producers.”
