YORVALE ice cream has been awarded highly commended in the food chain marketing Award category at the prestigious Dairy Industry Cream Awards.
The judges recognised the efforts of Yorvale, based in Acaster Malbis, in consistently driving its brand forward and looking to create innovative new products and flavours which meet the changing demands of consumers, while maintaining the same commitment to customer service and traditional methods of dairy farming.
The Cream Awards, which acknowledge “the brightest and best across the dairy industry”, were launched in 2012 and this is Yorvale’s third win at the event.
Previously its Panna Cotta and Chocolate Orange ice cream both won first place in their categories. The latest win recognises the advances Yorvale has made in the last few years, launching new flavours such as Salted Caramel and Bubblegum and its innovation in creating a new range of award-winning Yorlife kefir pouring yogurt drinks.
The judges chose Yorvale this time because it “demonstrated a model family business, still farming, putting all their passions into what is a very smart operation, profitable, growing, innovative with strong branding and communications and a great product at the end of it”.
