YORK-BASED tourism attraction group Continuum Attractions has appointed Jules Ozbek as group head of sales and marketing.

She spent four years with English Heritage as marketing manager for the north of England, having previously worked for Northern Film, Business and Enterprise North East and the National Railway Museum.

She said:“It’s an exciting time to join Continuum and I’m looking forward to taking the lead of our brilliant, ever-growing portfolio of commercial attractions.”

Continuum chief executive Juliana Delaney said: “Jules’ high level and very up-to-the-minute marketing expertise coupled with real tourism experience will take Continuum’s marketing agenda onto a new improved level.”

l Event services specialist Joe Manby Limited has expanded its graphics department with the appointment of a graphics co-ordinator.

Pedro Magalhaes, originally from Portugal, joined the Harrogate firm following a move to the UK in November 2015. He graduated from ESEIG University with a degree in graphic design before becoming a freelance graphic designer, and also spent time as a joiner.

l Leading national engineering specialist SES Engineering Services (SES) has appointed Paul Beaumont as operations manager at its York office.

He has worked in the building services sector for 30 years, having held an operational role for a national contractor and more recently worked on projects in London. He has now taken on responsibility for the Yorkshire region.

Mr Beaumont said: “I am delighted to be given this opportunity to join such an agile and innovative company and look forward to meeting new challenges head on and working as part of a highly experienced team.”
