NORTH Yorkshire brothers Matthew and James Sables have embarked on a motoring apprenticeship at Vauxhall retailer Evans Halshaw in Leeds.
The pair, Matthew, 21, pictured above with dealer principal John Cooke, and James, 18, from near Selby, have always wanted to work in the motor trade.
Mr Cooke said: “They are highly committed to making the most of this great scheme filled with fantastic opportunities.”
The apprentices have received hands-on experience in the sales department, allowing them to connect with potential buyers in and around the forecourt while learning key aspects to fulfilling the customers’ needs when buying new or used cars.
Des McCormack, apprentice programme mentor, said: “In their short time here, they have both shown they will go above and beyond for both staff and customers.”
