NATIONAL property consultant Carter Jonas has secured a duo of deals at Knaresborough Technology Park.
Naught One Limited, who design and manufacture high-quality furniture, has taken possession of a 13,000-sq ft industrial unit, while Control Zone Products, a specialist manufacturer of fly and odour control solutions, has taken 6,200 sq ft of industrial space.
Both businesses are relocating from their existing premises at the former Dunlopillo site in Pannal, which is in the process of being sold for a major new mixed-use scheme
Tom Brown, surveyor at Carter Jonas, who brokered the two deals, said: “We are seeing a significant increase in demand for industrial space across Harrogate, owing partly to the impending closure of the business park at Pannal where tenants have been served notice to vacate by September 1.
“The subsequent raft of requirements across the Harrogate market has resulted in demand significantly outstripping supply, meaning some businesses are struggling to find alternative premises.”
Chris Lee, managing director at Control Zone Products, said: “The high-quality accommodation will allow us to enhance our product offering and better serve our clients’ needs moving forward.”
Graham Keddie, managing director GSPK Limited, who own the technology park, said: “I am delighted to welcome Naught One and Control Zone Products to Knaresborough Technology Park. The calibre of these two occupiers is testament to the quality of accommodation we have to offer.”
