A NORTH Yorkshire PR agency is celebrating a successful start to the summer after securing a hat-trick of new clients.

Harrogate-based Cicada Communications has been appointed by Direct Corporate Clothing (DCC), which supplies uniform clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) to some of the biggest brands in the UK and Ireland.

Cicada will raise the profile of Birmingham-based DCC through a targeted content creation and media campaign, positioning the business as the first choice supplier for companies that require uniforms, PPE and corporate clothing.

The firm has also been appointed by Support Dogs, a national charity based in Sheffield which supplies and trains specialist assistance dogs to transform the lives of people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and children with autism.

Currently working with 70 individuals and their families across the UK, the charity does not charge for its services and relies entirely on voluntary donations. Cicada will be helping Support Dogs to achieve its business objectives through a targeted media campaign to generate greater awareness of the charity and the transformative nature of the work it does and to help it attract celebrity support.

Cicada was also appointed by herb, salad and edible flowers grower Herbs Unlimited to manage PR around its summer open day for food manufacturers and chefs on the farm at Sand Hutton in July.
