A NORTH Yorkshire pub is celebrating with 'doubles all round' after scooping two accolades in one week.

The Drovers Arms, in Skipwith, near Selby, has been named as one of Yorkshire’s 30 best pubs and gained a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

The pub was bought by Graham Usher, left, and Martin Firth, pictured above, in 2014. Since then the pair have turned it into a must-visit destination for foodies, real ale fanatics and the avid gin drinker.

In achieving its top 30 pub ranking, the Drovers will appear in Welcome to Yorkshire’s 2016 Ale Trail, launched at this week's Great Yorkshire Show.

The Certificate of Excellence relates to the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.

Mr Usher said: “Receiving recognition from TripAdvisor and Welcome to Yorkshire in the same week is a double celebration for us."
