YORK College Hair & Beauty Division welcomed hairdressers from around the region to an evening demonstration by world-renowned hairdresser Patrick Cameron.
His demonstration in the college’s Alan Ayckbourn Theatre inspired tutors and local hairdressers as they watched him create unique hairstyles with ease and precision.
Mr Cameron is acknowledged by his peers to be the ‘long hair expert’ and hairdressing professionals throughout the world are enthused by his techniques.
He said: “I want to inspire those working with the hairdressers of the future and pass on new skills and ideas. Education is paramount to any hairdresser’s growth and development and to increase awareness in long hair dressing particularly, dispelling the myth that long hair dressing is complicated, is important to me.”
