TWO legal assistants put their best feet forward to raise money for York’s St Leonard’s Hospice.
Yvonne Macdonald and Katie Westmorland, of Hethertons Solicitors, raised £422 by taking part in the hospice’s five-mile Midnight Walk with friends and family members.
Yvonne said: “We are absolutely delighted with the amount of money we have raised and we really enjoyed taking part in the walk alongside so many other local women.
“We hope the money we have raised will go some way towards helping this wonderful cause, which provides help to so many local people with serious conditions.”
Simon Nellar, director at Hethertons, said: “We feel it is really important that we as a firm give back and encourage those that work with us to support worthy causes.”
