BUSINESSES in the Selby district have an opportunity next month to access expert support and advice in an event run by the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Selby District Council.
They have been invited to a breakfast briefing at 8am on July 7 at Selby Civic Centre, with the chance to find out about available support, advice and information, and encouragement to take the first steps in applying for training grants.
Nicki Hudson, engagement manager for the LEP skills service, and Chris Moore, Selby’s growth manager, will both attend.
LEP board member Mark Ridgway said: “It really is an excellent opportunity for employers to give their business a boost by making sure staff are equipped with the expertise to work smarter and more efficiently, as well as bringing new skills into the organisation to help them achieve their objectives.”
