A LEADING supplier of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services is relocating its York branch to a larger unit .
Brammer, which has been in the city for more than 30 years, is moving to a site at Alexandra Court, James Street, from its previous home on Fulford Road Industrial Estate.
The new branch’s 3,200 sq ft size will enable Brammer to enhance its stockholding capability and showcase more products from its range of bearings, electrical and mechanical power transmissions, fluid power, tools and maintenance and health and safety equipment.
The new branch will also provide same-day delivery for stocked items from market-leading manufacturers such as SKF, SMC and Stanley, as well as Roebuck and Q-Safe.
Ailsa Webb, UK group operations director, said: “We have operated in York for 32 years and have built up a fantastic relationship with customers in the local area.
“The move will enable us to enhance the service we provide, and to ensure a smooth transition from our current branch, we have chosen a location just up the road which provides increased space and is more accessible.
“We’re proud to consistently offer a value-added service and our trained advisors onsite enable us to appropriately support our customers providing product knowledge and guidance specific for their applications, as well as ongoing technical support.”
