A LEADING North Yorkshire legal firm has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.
This places it in the top five per cent of businesses to be awarded at this level from all of the professional practices that complete IIP.
Crombie Wilkinson has more than 100 staff across nine specialist departments, with offices in York, Selby and Malton.
IIP is the international standard for people management, and enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
Paul Devoy, head of IIP, said: “We’d like to congratulate Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors. Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success.”
Steve Burrows, managing director of IIP North of England, said: “With their accreditation success, Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors is certainly working to realise their people potential.”
Duncan Morter, managing director at Crombie Wilkinson, said: “I am very proud that the firm has achieved the Silver award in Investors in People. The fact that we are in the top five per cent of businesses to have achieved this standard is testament to the hard work and commitment of my team and it is great to have this recognition.”
