A NORTH Yorkshire furniture designer and manufacturer has teamed up with Bosnian wood company Artisan on an exclusive distribution deal.
As a result of the partnership Thirsk-based Treske has become the only distributor of Artisan's furniture in the north of England, and one of only two nation wide.
Justin Bartlett, owner and managing director of Treske, said: "This is a very significant venture for both us and Artisan. The synergy is perfect.
"Artisan are hugely talented designers and manufacturers. It is the ideal addition to our own range of furniture.
"We are proud that they have chosen us as their sole distributors in the north of England. We are promoting the furniture as the Treske Artisan Range and it is already proving very popular,.
Silva Vuksanovic of Artisan, which has 150 dealers across the world supplying furniture made in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said: "Our partnership with Treske is perfect. They share our values, our love of quality furniture, of design and of wood.
"Ever since we met them at a Cologne trade fair, we knew we could work together."
