NORTH Yorkshire drinks brand Harrogate Spring Water has expanded its presence on the sporting scene with sponsorship of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The firm has signed up to sponsor Yorkshire CCC for the 2016 and 2017 Championship seasons, building on an existing cricket deal which sees Harrogate Spring Water take the tile of official water of England Cricket.
Through sponsorship of Yorkshire, the company's name is behind the newly-branded Harrogate Spring Water Media Centre at the club's Carnegie Pavilion.
Harrogate Spring Water is also the official water of Ascot Racecourse and the internationally renowned Royal Ascot racing festival.
Nicky Cain, marketing manager at Harrogate Spring Water, said: "Our sponsorship of England Cricket, Yorkshire CCC and Ascot reflect our brand’s heritage and Britishness and supports our position as the number one premium British spring water.
"These sponsorships also present opportunities to reach international as well as national markets, which is crucial to our strategy for growth."
