SITE infrastructure works are complete and new building works have now commenced on phase two of a new business park near Malton.

Malton Enterprise Park is a 17 acre commercial development by David Harrison Group and offers a mixture of office, trade, industrial and warehouse units.

Leeds–based chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has been instructed as joint marketing agent for the park alongside York based McBeath Property Consultancy.

Phase two follows the success of the first phase of development which saw sales to flexible printed food packaging suppliers J M Packaging, telecoms infrastructure engineers Alifabs and chilled food producer Pro-Pak.

Sean Harrison, managing director of David Harrison Group, said “We are very happy to see the next phase of construction at Malton Enterprise Park get underway. This is a much sought after and highly accessible location in North Yorkshire."

The latest units being constructed will be ready for occupation in Spring 2016.

Jonathon White, associate partner in the Sanderson Weatherall agency team added: "Significant investment is being made in Malton Enterprise Park and we are seeing continued high demand from local occupiers, as evidenced by the fact that eight units are already under offer.

"This is great news for the local economy, as historically, Malton has struggled to accommodate growing local businesses and attract national occupiers to the area, due to a lack of product, but thanks to Malton Enterprise Park this is now changing."
