THE family law unit at Langleys Solicitors has strengthened its offering with a fourth solicitor becoming a Resolution Accredited Specialist.
Resolution is an organisation whose members are specialist family and matrimonial lawyers who are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes involving the care of children, the home and finances after separation.
Laura Sargeant is the latest member of the family and children law team to achieve the status of Resolution Accredited Specialist and has become accredited in private law relating to children work and domestic abuse.
She joins Mark Day, who heads the family law team, and is an accredited specialist in advanced financial provision relating to divorce and children law relating to separation, Emma Lawler, who is accredited in domestic abuse and advanced financial provision, and Carol Jessop who is accredited in cohabitation law, advanced financial provision and domestic abuse.
FORMER local authority transformation programme manager Alice Beckwith has joined York-based Benenden in newly created role
The health and wellbeing mutual community, Benenden has created a new role of head of member experience and appointed Alice Beckwith to the position.
Ms Beckwith joins the Benenden senior leadership team from City of York Council, after holding the position of transformation programme manager for more than seven years.
With more than10 years’ experience in public sector, Ms Beckwith brings a wealth of knowledge on change programmes and improving the customer journey, as well as a high level of insight on Adult and Children’s social care.
Benenden created the role in an effort to focus on the customer journey of its members more strategically and to ensure a joined up approach at all levels.
Peter Robinson, member services director at Benenden said: "We’re delighted to have Alice onboard to drive forward our member engagement and satisfaction levels even further than they currently are.
"Alice’s experience will be a great asset to the organisation in putting member experience at the centre of all we do, building on our existing award winning reputation."
