COMPLETE Office Solutions is set to see turnover surpass the £50 million following three acquisitions as part of a expansion strategy aimed at reaching £120 million within five years.

The firm, which has a York office in Kettlestring Lane, has taken over the two companies that make up the Advantage Group - Advantage Business Supplies, based in Hereford, and Advantage Office Supplies Systems in Cheshire.

The deal followed the separate acquisition of Concept Office Supplies.

The three acquisitions will add £7.5 million to the group's revenues, pushing it above £50 million.

Concept has already been relocated into Complete Office Solutions' (COS) Wakefield site but both Advantage sites will remain as regional sales and distributions centres and be rebranded as COS later this year.

COS chief executive Richard Coulson said: "We are about to embark on the most exciting chapter in our history as we expand nationally.

"We intend to keep progressing both organically and by further acquisition and we are supremely confident of building a national company with sales revenues in excess £120 million per annum with sites containing regional sales teams, customer service and distribution, covering all areas of the UK within the next five years and I am currently considering investment offers to expedite this plan."

As well as it's York site, COS, which provides office equipment and services, has another North Yorkshire base in Malton's Yorkersgate, as well as head officers in Wakefield, and sites in Darlington, Rotherham and Scunthorpe.
