A STORE which opened in York's city centre almost six months ago is closing with the loss of eight jobs.
National DVD, CD and computer game retailer That's Entertainment is closing its store in Coppergate on Monday.
The shop only opened on November 8 last year, and followed the closure of the chain's store at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet York, earlier in 2014.
Around 12 jobs from the Designer Outlet transferred to the city centre store, along with the creation of at least ten new positions.
Workers confirmed the shop was down to employing eight members of staff, and stated poor location as the reason for closure.
One employee said: "We're not doing very well as we are in a bad location here."
The nearest That's Entertainment store will now be in Castleford.
