Businessman Alan Lewis – who owns the Jacobean Sheriff Hutton Hall and made much of his fortune from the Crombie clothing company – is valued at £270 million in 370th place on the list.

Yorkshire’s richest people are Meadowhall entrepreneurs Eddie and Malcolm Healey, worth an estimated £1.5 billion, while Harrogate-based property magnate Paul Sykes is valued at £690 million, and Sir Ken Morrison at £733 million – £167 million less than last year.
