AN industrial and commercial development on the outskirts of York has secured occupiers for three of the first five phase-one units.
Two units at York’s Rose Centre, near Nether Poppleton, have been sold, and the third is currently under offer on a leasehold basis.
The first has been taken by Automotive Solutions, a York-based BMW repair specialist, while the second has been bought by a private investor.
The Rose Centre is based on a three-acre site that is being developed by local company Dream Developments. The first phase of the development consists of the construction of nine units, with the largest offering 4,700 sq ft of space.
The scheme is being marketed by Bilfinger GVA and Flanagan James Property Consultants. The units are for sale or to let.
Garry Barker, managing director of DREAM Developments, said: “It’s been really encouraging to have agreed two pre-sales ahead of completion of the first phase of the development with a third unit being under offer.
“With interest continuing to grow from a number of parties, we’re confident that the remaining units will also be sold shortly.”
