WRITER, broadcaster and former MP Gyles Brandreth is appearing in York this month as guest speaker at York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner.
The event, on Thursday, March 26, will see more than 500 of the region’s business men and women gather at the National Railway Museum.
Chamber president Suzanne Burnett said: “We’re looking forward to seeing Gyles. “He is an excellent speaker with a colourful history so we are sure to be entertained.
“This year we’re also holding a prize draw to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice. ”
The event is supported by principal sponsor, HSBC Commercial Banking. Additional sponsors are SaBRE, Shepherd Group, Saville Audio Visual, Business Enterprise Fund and Chamber International.
