A YORK video and sound specialist is positioned to bid for further NHS contracts after winning approval as a supplier.

Following a competitive tendering process Saville Audio Visual has achieved approved supplier status on the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) framework.

NHS SBS is a joint venture between the Department of Health and Sopra Steria, and is the largest provider of business services to NHS England.

Bosses at Saville say their inclusion in the Television and Audio Visual sector will provide enhanced opportunities to provide further services and systems integration in healthcare, adding to the company’s history of providing audio visual and integrated systems to hospitals and primary care facilities including GP and Dental practices, with Saville supplying specialist telemedicine and video conferencing projects to trusts across the UK over many years.

Saville Commercial director Andy Dyson said: “This award as a preferred supplier to the NHS is fantastic news for Saville.

“Historically we have had many opportunities with existing clients where they have wanted to procure audio visual equipment and services from us but have been unable to progress these due to lack of relevant framework membership. This is a notable first for the company.”
